Costumes

Different styles, and levels, of dance require different uniforms and clothing for examinations. Part of the discipline of dance is a neat appearance. Accordingly, uniforms should be worn with pride. Particular attention should be given to neat and correct grooming, including wearing the correct hair and leotard. This must be adhered to at every dance class in the LC Dance Academy.

Jewellery

For health and safety reasons, jewellery is a strictly prohibited during dance classes and examinations.

Required Dress

All dance uniforms may be obtained from the academy. The following are the academy’s uniform requirements for dance classes and examinations:

Classical Ballet Beginners – Pre-Primary Examination

  • White Tutu Leotard (Sleeveless with No Gather Front)
  • Pink Ballet Shoe (Leather with Pink Elastic)
  • Pink Ballet Socks
  • White Crossover Cardigan
  • Pink Hair Band with Hair Net or Hair Up in Bun (No Fancy Accessories)


Classical Ballet Primary Examination
